Why Attend?

Real World, Practical

You’ll work on scenarios pulled from the daily challenges we face as corporate recruiting leaders.  You’ll get real-world best practices from the trainer and your peers.  None of that “looks good on paper, but it’d never work in the real world” academic conference best practices – everything you learn will be ready to put into place right away.

Tools and Templates

To ensure the workshop lessons learned stick, you leave with tools and templates to help you build and get funding for new strategies and investments, coach and measure recruiters and sourcers, scale and drive adoption of new pipelining and interviewing models, etc.  You’ll also get word tracks – specific ways to reframe conversations and requests so that you’re even more influential when trying to change the behaviors of your execs, hiring managers, and recruiters.

Credibly Led

These workshops are led by John Vlastelica, Founder and Managing Director of global consulting firm, Recruiting Toolbox.  He and his team have been hired by heads of talent at world-class companies to improve their recruiting capabilities.  Clients include Disney, PepsiCo, Amazon, Nike, Adidas, Google, Salesforce, Nestle, Starbucks, SAP, Bloomberg, Ferrero, and Booking,  He spent half of his career as a practitioner, where he was the head of tech recruiting at Amazon and head of global recruiting at Expedia.  He’s been leading recruiting leadership labs since 2011.

Peer Practitioner Feedback

Hundreds of your peer practitioners – from companies like Nike, Amazon, Facebook, Booking, Uber, LinkedIn, Zillow, Coca-Cola, EA Games, Twitter, Allstate, Target, IKEA, Sephora, Deutsche Bahn, and SAP – have rated our labs 5/5.  Many say it’s the best training they’ve ever had as a recruiting leader, and 99% say they’d recommend it to their peers.  Read testimonials here.

Network Building

You’ll work side by side with 20 peer corporate recruiting managers in small groups, on hands-on scenarios, where you’ll share and learn from each other. In addition to the real-time benchmarking and best practice sharing that takes place during the core workshop time, you’ll enjoy time at breaks, lunch, and dinner to build relationships with colleagues who face similar challenges.  We also invite all participants to our Slack channel post-workshop for Q&A and best practice sharing.

Engaging and Fun

These are not stuffy conference sessions, where you can anonymously sit in the back of the room, checking email and Slack, tuned out and bored.  We engage, we use authentic language, we get vulnerable, and we laugh.  John works hard to keep the energy high and the group – made up of smart, high-expectation recruiting leaders – participating and learning.
