Quarterly Business Reviews & influencing Executives

Join John Vlastelica and a group of your corporate recruiting leader peers for Cohort 21 of Recruiting Toolbox’s Recruiting Leadership Lab. In this lab, you and your peer TA leaders will learn and share best practices to help you build and deliver effective quarterly business review discussions with execs, leveraging business insights to prioritize, talent insights and internal metrics to influence, and real-world influencing techniques to engage and get buy in for your strategies to help the business hire the talent it needs.

What Will You Learn?

  • How to build and prepare for a strategic quarterly business review (QBR) with your business executives (VP level leaders).
  • How to leverage talent market insights and historical internal metrics to diagnose root issues, influence execs, and gain their buy in for your strategies.
  • How to build a QBR and plan when optimizing for quality and diversity versus speed and scale.
  • How to prepare for the 10 most common questions executives will ask you in a QBR/strategy discussion.
  • How to ask strategic questions that give you the insights you need to align your resources to the most important business priorities.
  • How to leverage an effective QBR and storytelling framework to maximize your limited time in front of execs.

We usually sell out several months in advance, so registering early is a great way to ensure that you secure your spot. Participation is limited to 20 corporate recruitment managers per leadership lab (no more than two from the same company).

Who Should Attend?

Corporate Recruiting Managers and Directors (only) who lead recruiters and are responsible for recruiting strategy for a significant part of their organization (i.e. they own recruiting for a function, business unit, department, or geography).

Leaders have typically led small (3-person+) to large (20-person+) corporate recruiting teams.

Sorry, no vendors or partners to corporate recruiting teams (RPO, services, contingent or third-party recruiters, consultants) allowed. You must manage corporate recruiters to attend. This is not a hands-on “how to recruit” training or “future of talent acquisition” conference.  This is 100% focused on helping current TA leaders lead, influence, and drive strategy.
